REIT stands for Real Estate Investment Trust. In essence, REITs take money from investors and use it to invest in properties. Most people can’t afford to get into the real estate business, simply because the properties are so expensive. But with REITs, investors can get into the real estate market without ponying up millions of dollars. Like stocks, REITs are a type of security traded on major exchanges. ¬†This course will teach you everything you need to know about investing in REITs.
